(Vernacular Chinese)
(Translation in English)
Xiang of Members at Home says: The outer sign of the hexagram is Xun, which stands for wind; the inner sign is Li, which stands for fire. That fire is inside and wind is outside means that wind adds to the intensity of fire and fire adds to the force of wind. In this manner, they complement each other. They are the qualities of Members at Home. Judging from the qualities of the hexagram, man of noble character understands that what he says must be practical; besides, he must persevere in his down-to earth doings.(Vol.11 Zhou Yi)
